Music Artist, Courtney Evans, also known as Side Show

Melbourne has always been a city that hums louder than most — its alleyways drenched in paint, venues pulsing with bass, and conversations spilling out over tables that feel more like collaborative jam sessions than casual hangs.

- it was the perfect breeding ground. Growing up there meant being swallowed whole by a culture where punk collided with dubstep, hardcore bled into techno, and no genre existed without its community. That cacophony didn’t just influence him, it shaped the way he sees art entirely — not as a profession, but as a lifestyle.

He first arrived as the face of Sell Adore, a punk band that burned fast and bright for four years before dissolving. But as one fire dimmed, another sparked. The crossover into electronic music was less a departure than an extension — a chance to funnel the same energy he once brought to screaming into a mic into a world of synths, samples, and stage-dives behind the decks. “I’d climb anything that could be climbed,” he laughs, remembering the raw chaos of those early shows. “It was the same punk energy, just with a different toolkit.”It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Make it stand out
